Part of the scenes are believed to also have been used in "Aweigh All Boats" filmed in 1956. The USS Randall (APA-224), also a Haskell-class APA, was used for most of the ship scenes in that movie. Interestingly, Both Clint Eastwood and David Janssen also had small speaking roles in that movie -- Eastwood as a Navy medical corpsman assisting the captain after he is wounded while trying to save his ship and Janssen as a bridge talker.  They apparently were regular "gator sailors" long before becoming big stars!

HOPING TO FIX THIS SOON!
